Say Hello To The Boy / Girl Next Door
Mark this day in your calendar folks – Sunday March 30. It’s Neighbour Day. You don’t make a donation, you don’t wear a ribbon and you don’t buy a badge. You don’t even have to register or volunteer or set up a committee! All you have to do is walk next door and say hello to your neighbours.
Neighbour Day is all about strengthening communities and building better relationships with the people who live around us. It’s about making our suburbs and towns safer, healthier and more vibrant. It’s about promoting tolerance, respect and understanding. It breaks down community barriers. And it helps us to look after our elderly, vulnerable and disadvantaged.
