Shout Out!

Leading gay youth service, Twenty10, has joined forces with local youth housing service, Taldumande Youth Services, to start a new social support group for young gay, lesbian, bi and transgender people in North Sydney. It’s called Shout Out.

Shout Out is a group for young queer people and their friends, 25 years and under. You don’t have to live in North Sydney – everyone is welcome! The group meets fortnightly.

The idea behind Shout Out is to create a space where you can feel safe and know that you are in a group of like-minded people. It’s a chance to make friends, have fun, ask questions, discuss… it can be what you want it to be.

While it might be daunting or scary coming to a group like this for the first time, remember that you’re not alone. The first step is the hardest, but it’s also the most rewarding.
