Sam Sparro Lets Madge Have It

You know Sam Sparro right? He’s the gay Aussie singer who’s just exploded into the public eye with his new song Black And Gold. And even though he’s the new guy on the block, it would seem he’s not afraid to say what he really thinks.

In a recent interview with UK Magazine Attitude, Sparro has called Madonna “wretched”, “vulgar” and no longer sexy. His exact words were “Madonna is wretched at the moment – absolutely vulgar. Put it away.”

Could it have had anything to do with Madonna’s 4 Minutes beating his single in the British Charts? Perhaps.

Our sources tell us that Sam Sparro coming to Australia next month as part of a whirlwind tour, appearing in Sydney on July 16 and Melbourne in July 11. Stay tuned to Same Same for updates.

Personally I've loved most of what she's done, even still have her "SEX" book LOL. No matter if you love her or hate her, as an aspiring musician with a so far 1 hit wonder until proven otherwise you would have to think its a stupid move to publicly bash on her. Then again these days I don't think it matters if your press is good or bad, just as long as your name is being mentioned. Not really a fan of his music.. just doesn't crack my musical boner :P

This article says a lot about Sam, to be saying such negative things about a woman/ artist who has entertained us for the last 25 years and still does at the age of 50. Madonna has always pushed the envelop made us think and is not afraid to try new things, that is what a true artist is about. Kyle

Shame about Sparro's attitude. Sticks and stones should be saved for those who genuinely deserve it. Meanwhile, fast forward by 20, 30 years. If civilisation as we know it has survived everything that looks about to whack us for six (global warming, peak oil, food and energy crises), the pressing question on everyone's lips will no doubt be... has Sam Sparro become vulgar too? ;)
