Todd Takes His Pants Off
What do you do when you start feeling hot at a party? Drink some water? Go outside and sit down? Well, you could always take your pants off. At least, that’s what Todd McKenney did that fateful weekend when he overdosed on GHB and was arrested by Kings Cross police for drug possession.
Todd McKenney’s statement to police details how he removed his pants when he started overheating at a house party on Macleay St on Anzac Day eve. He said he was hot from dancing, and took his pants off so he could continue dancing. According to Todd, it was then that the GHB was supposedly planted on him. Although by the sounds of things, the spiking must have happened well before then.
As reported today in the Sydney Morning Herald, the defence is likely to make its way into his pending court hearing, in which Todd has pleaded not guilty.
Todd’s trial is set to continue on October 15, it’s expected to last two days and he is required to be present.
