What Buttered The Same Same Loaf In June?

In May on Same Same it was all about the scandal, but June was much more of a mixed bag – a bit of gossip, a touch of insight, a little soul searching with a side order of diva.

The outing of Rudd’s butler thanks to Facebook and the Daily Telegraph was the top story of the month. Lets hope that those of us who are on Facebook learned from his mistake and updated our privacy settings.

The big celebs of June were Grace Jones, Darren Hayes, Gabriella Cilmi and Sam Sparro. Both Cilmi and Sparro have exploded into the public consciousness with their fresh new sounds, Hayes told us how coming out affected his career, while Grace Jones simply told everyone to get fucked.

In June it was all about the pursuit of happiness. Jody Ekert’s article The Cheat’s Guide To Happiness was eagerly devoured, coming in at fourth place.

The eighth top story of June told us all to stay away from loud parties and to protect our hearing. The ninth top story listed all the loud parties. And coming in at number ten was a story to remind us all that when it comes to parties, sometimes the loud music is the least of our concerns.
