Ladytron Are Coming!
If you haven’t heard of Ladytron, do yourself a favour – you’ll love their edgy digital sound and soulful vocals. This longstanding UK indie-electro band are set to make a visit to Australia this year for their debut live tour. After four albums, we think a visit to our shores is long overdue!
Credited with popularising the ill-fated electroclash sound well before the genre even had a name, Ladytron have lived on long after the many bandwagon jumpers fell by the wayside. Their latest album, Velocifero, was produced by Alessandro Cortini of Nine Inch Nails and it proves why Ladytron have shaped this genre and cements their position at its foreground.
The tour is presented by Civil Society and Same Same, and Swedish electro-pop duo Familjen will be playing all shows as the support act.
Same Same will have exclusive pre-sale tickets available from Monday July 21st, with standard tickets then available Thursday July 24th.
