Marry Me Pauline!

Pauline Hanson wants a husband, and she’s prepared to find him on national television.

In what has already been a strange and varied career, former politician, prisoner, dancer and fish and chip shop owner Pauline Hanson has never failed to surprise – and it’s good to know that hasn’t changed.

Announcing today that she had been approached to star in her own reality TV show, along the lines of Farmer Wants a Wife, the flame-haired, fire-mouth might have another interlude with reality TV after narrowly losing the Dancing With The Stars competition to Rebecca Cartwright in 2004.

Hanson also recorded some of her own ‘reality’ TV in 1997, recording a ‘death’ video that would be shown to her supporters should she be assassinated.

The twice-married 54 year-old admitted that a career in politics (and maybe her dance moves?), had made it difficult to find a man. Recently splitting with country music singer Chris Callaghan, Hanson said Farmer Wants a Wife had produced some ‘ideal matches’ and maybe it could do the same for her.

Pauline was quoted in the Daily Telegraph indicating she would seriously consider offers as long as the show’s premise wasn’t “ridiculous.”

We assume that non-white immigrant prospective husbands need not apply.
