More Talent Added To Mardi Gras Party Line Up
Well Natalie Bassingthwaighte told media last year that she wanted to perform at Mardi Gras Party, and it seems she’s getting her wish! Mardi Gras announced today that she’ll be doing a live show, along with West End star Alison Jiear, who you’ll know best for her gay anthem I Just Wanna Dance from Jerry Springer The Opera.
DJs in the Royal Hall of Industries will be Kitty Glitter, Wayne G and Dan Murphy, alongside the Grammy-nominated Freemasons, who are back again after a memorable Mardi Gras set in 2007.
It’s all about House in the Hordern Pavilion with headliner – and the man who opens Madonna’s world tour – Paul Oakenfold, as well as Brent Nicholls, Alan Thompson and Mike Kelly.
Both the scenic and the sound in the Dome will be Tribal with Annabelle Gaspar, Ben Drayton, Rob Gilbert and Feisty.
The Forum will play host to a mix of rock, electro and disco, with DJs Avra, Dan Random, Matt Vaughn, Stereogamous and Lauren Flax starring alongside live performances by Beau Monde, The Ones and Infusion. There’s also a surprise act planned for this space too.
The Coach Carpark will be fully integrated into the party this year as a retro space, with David Hiscock, Justin Scott and Jake Kilby spinning the discs, along with the winners of the Mardi Gras DJ Spin Off competition.
