Same Same’s Mardi Bar launches this Sunday night and we can’t wait to welcome you all with open arms! (And open bar… well, almost.)

On Monday March 2 Same Same will present the photographic exhibition – Snap! It’s just hung on the walls of the Midsumma festival bar in Melbourne, and now this outstanding exhibition of photographic images, captured by our team of photographers over the past 12 months, is heading to the Mardi Bar.

We think Same Same has some of the best scene photographers in the country, and we’re pretty sure most of you would agree. These talented shutterbugs are not only documenting our scene, they’re present a revealing snapshot of who we are right now as a community. They’re more than just everyday scene pictures, they’re photos that are bursting with life, colour and movement, capturing the energy and the true spirit of our diverse community from all around the country.

Music will be provided by Same Same’s Josh Kirkby, also known as Genkij, and there’ll be special Agwa liquor tastings too.

Snap! is on for one night only at the Same Same Mardi Bar on Monday March 2 from 7 – 9pm. RSVP for a free drink and free entry. All work is for sale and half of funds raised will be donated to charity – the Gay and Lesbian Community Switchboard in Victoria.
