Beyonce Coming Down Under!

It’s official – Beyoncé’s I Am… Tour will be coming to Australia in September. It’s her first full-length concert since 2007’s sold-out The Beyoncé Experience and will feature tracks from her latest album I Am… Sasha Fierce.

According to a statement released today by tour promoter Coppel, Beyoncé will be onstage for two hours backed by her all female band, and will be “performing her greatest hits, classics and surprises in a newly-created high-tech, state-of-the-art live setting”.

World-renowned style guru Thierry Mugler is the tour’s creative advisor and costume designer.

Here’s a taste of what’s to come:

Dates are as follows:
Sat Sept 12 – Brisbane Entertainment Centre
Tues Sept 15 – Melbourne Rod Laver Arena
Fri Sept 18 – Sydney Acer Arena
Tues Sept 22 – Adelaide Entertainment Centre
Thurs Sept 24 – Perth Burswood Dome

Tickets go on sale Friday April 24, 9am through Ticketek. A special Visa pre-sale starts at 12 noon local time on Tuesday April 14 until 5pm Thursday 16th April.

I agree with Ash - to have an artist as MASSIVE as Beyonce come to Australia's shores is big news! Just like when people like Madonna and Spice Girls etc ditch us is news, it's same same. Haha samesame. Geddit?
