Last month we ran a unique competition where we gave one lucky Same Same member the chance to be forever immortalised as a piece of art by British artist Trademark.

To coincide with his Mardi Gras exhibition at the Urban Uprising art gallery in Sydney, Trademark agreed to create a canvas oil painting of the winner in his original pop-art style that puts the winner alongside Grace Jones, Kylie Minogue, Boy George and David Bowie.

After much deliberation, the winner of the competition has been been selected by Trademark in London as Nathan from Sydney [on right]. His portrait will be turned into a one-off collector piece that will be auctioned off at the annual Aurora dinner coming up in June to raise money for charity.
