Same Same Scrubs Up

Surprise! While you were sleeping, Same Same’s had a design refresh and we’re now as young as Joan Rivers on a bad day.

We hope your like our fresh new look. We aim to constantly improve Same Same, taking on board your feedback and adding new features so we can continue to evolve with the times. Here’s a taste of some of the new stuff you can play with from today.

We’ve added a new Snapshot! photo section that allows us to showcase things that don’t normally fit under the heading of social photos that we normally cover. To celebrate the upcoming Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend, we’re kicking off the Snapshot! gallery with Same Same’s pick of the hottest male royals in the world so you can set your sights on them. Each week we’ll be adding more galleries to this section.

We’ve also added Same Same TV, a brand new video section that will house all of our video content that we’ll be creating and hand-picking for you. This is the new home of popular series Surf Camp, its soon to be announced cousin, and video interviews with celebrities like Annie Lennox.

Based on your feedback, from this point on you will never have to choose which city you are from in order to get into Same Same. Our super smart new site now automatically determines where in Australia you are visiting the site from, and tailors the site just for you. You can change this city at any time by clicking on a new city in the navigation bar.

We have also made it easier for you to share things on Same Same with the rest of the world, adding social bookmark features so if you like a story that you read, you can instantly share it with your Facebook or Twitter friends with the click of a button.

There’s also new Top 10 stories on Same Same, the ability to browse content by tags and… well, you can discover the rest for yourself.

We love the new Same Same even more than the old, and hope you do too.
