A Stitch In Time For Morrissey
Aussie fashion designer Peter Morrissey was rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital on the weekend with what turned out to be a small cerebral aneurysm. He underwent emergency surgery on Sunday morning at Prince Of Wales Hospital and credits his boyfriend with saving his life.
According to The Australian, Morrissey first realised something was wrong when started experiencing excruciating headaches and nausea on Friday night.
“I would not be here if it was not for my beautiful partner Sean; he acted fast and saved my life,” said Morrissey.
Morrissey is currently recovering and is in a stable condition. His doctors say that he will make a full recovery.
“He had a ruptured brain aneurysm which I operated on using a coiling technique, which is non-invasive surgery. The aneurysm has been completely repaired,” said vascular neurosurgeon Richard Parkinson.
