Tori Amos Touring In December

Tori Amos is currently on tour in support of her latest album Abnormally Attracted To Sin. According to Tori’s fan site the flame haired artist has revealed that she will be touring to Australia at the end of this year.

“Great news for Toriphiles in Oz,” says the site. ”[A fan] Robert Schrader tells us that at this afternoon’s meet and greet Tori said there will be a tour of Australia in December. Yay! So all you folks Down Under may now commence with the running around in circles, jumping for joy.”

There has been no official confirmation from management. Universal Music have declined to comment, saying that it is their policy to let touring promoters speak for their tours.

A spokesperson for tour promoter Michael Coppel, who brought Tori’s American Doll Posse tour to Australia in 2007, told Same Same, “At present we’re unable to confirm any Australian tour dates by Tori Amos.”

Robert Schrader told Same Same today “Tori will definitely be coming to Australia! I asked her myself at the Meet and Greet. She said it would be a solo tour and sometime in December, before Christmas. I know it’s not confirmed by management or anything, but Tori wouldn’t talk about something in public unless she was intent on it happening. I have a lot of Aussie friends and after Tori and I got done talking I made sure to get that all-important question in.”

Tori’s North American leg runs through July and August and she’ll be in Europe in September and October. Stay tuned to Same Same for updates.
