You’ve lived through 90210, fallen for Melrose, laughed at E Street and maybe even wondered what would ever happen if Home and Away went gay for a day.

Same Same is proud to present The Horizon, a brand new online soap series set in inner-city Sydney that has more drama than Oxford Street on a Saturday night.

The Horizon follows the lives of four characters – country boy Jake, city dweller AJ, high flyer Chris and drag queen Wilma – whose paths intersect on the street, in the clubs and – occasionally – in the bedroom. Filmed and shot around Sydney, The Horizon was conceived and directed by Adam Jones and Mark Benko Ure, and written by Neighbours and Always Greener writer Boaz Stark.

The Horizon follows on the heels of last year’s Surf Camp, a reality series that has now been viewed over 350,000 times worldwide.

Over the coming week, we will introduce you to the four stars of The Horizon, as well as the production crew behind the new series. A new episode will air every Friday for the next eight weeks on SameSame.com.au, beginning Friday October 2.
