George Michael has arrived in Australia for his national tour, which kicks off in Perth this Saturday. News.com.au reports that Michael was spotted dining at Catalina restaurant in Sydney’s Rose Bay on Tuesday night, and was polite to photographers.

There’s still speculation as to whether Michael will perform at this year’s Mardi Gras party. According to the Herald Sun, Michael tour dates were re-scheduled to co-incide with Mardi Gras. His last tour date in Australia will be Melbourne, March 3. It’s unknown whether he’ll remain in the country 3 more days for Party.

It’s George Michael’s first Aussie tour since 1988, and he’ll only be playing in Sydney, on February 26, and Perth, on February 20. Tickets are still available.
