Aussie leather party Woofclub has teamed up with the internationally renowned Folsom Street Fair team to produce a Mardi Gras Parade recovery event this weekend at The Gaff on Oxford Street.

WoofClub’s Aussie founder Steve Atkins says, “I’ve never been interested in using sponsors who could over-influence the creative integrity of WoofClub. With Folsom, they sussed us out first then approached us with the offer. They’ve been fantastic to work with – like old friends.”

Demetri Moshoyannis from Folsom Street Events told Same Same that this is the third year that they’ve been involved with Mardi Gras to some extent, but this year they felt the need to do more.

“We’ve seen the number of Aussie fetishists climb exponentially, and we’re really happy about it,” says Demetri. “We approached WoofClub about a collaboration. WoofClub has the same sexy, sleazy, masculine and laid back feel of Folsom Street Fair, so it’s a great fit. We’re helping to bring Paul King, an amazing London DJ who performed at Folsom Street Fair last year, and we’ll be giving out lots of fun Folsom gifts like Magnitude tickets. Hopefully, it will be the best WoofClub yet!”

WoofClub – Catacomb is on at The Gaff, Cnr Oxford & Riley Streets from 9pm to 6am, Sun Feb 28. DJs include Seymour Butz, Jayson Leahy, George Roussos, Rob Davis
and Special Guest DJ from London Paul King. For more information and to get tickets head to WoofClub’s website.
