Not one but TWO Lady Gaga-styled drag queens will battle it out in a one-off flash mob dance-off at a Sydney landmark this weekend, Same Same can reveal.

Dozens of volunteer dancers [pictured] met secretly at Arq nightclub this evening to practice their elaborate dance moves. Another rehearsal is planned at a nearby venue on Saturday before the main event.

The organisers hope to keep exact details of their flash mob secret so the crowd at the scene is surprised by the dance breakout, but they promise it will be filmed and uploaded onto YouTube.

Sydney’s flash mob crew premiered with over 100 dancers at Bondi Beach last November. The YouTube video of their show has attracted almost half a million viewers.

The flash mob craze is sweeping the world, with events ranging from choreographed dance numbers, to ‘Zombie walks’, to mass pillow fights.
