Nervo welcomed to Disgraceland
One of the most exciting new forces in pop music will be hitting up Disgraceland in Sydney and Melbourne this weekend to play exclusive DJ sets.
Nervo are twin-sisters Liv and Mim Nervo. They wrote and produced David Guetta’s Grammy Award-winning song When Love Takes Over as well as three songs from Ke$sha’s debut album, Let’s Get Crazy for Miley Cyrus, If I Was A Man for the Pussycat Dolls and more. This month, a song that Nervo wrote for Kylie Minogue Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) was released on her new album Aphrodite, and their single co-written with Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Not Giving Up On Love will be released at Armin Van Buuren’s next single.
Their own single, This Kind Of Love went number 1 on the world club charts last month.
Nervo are the best thing to happen to pop music since electricity, and tonight (Friday) they are taking to the decks exclusively in Sydney to play at Nevermind, followed by Disgraceland in Melbourne at JettBlack on Saturday.
Originally from Melbourne, Nervo are based in the US and UK and Disgraceland is super proud to welcome them to the stage this weekend. As DJs, Nervo have played on the main stage at the Miami Winter Music Conference, are playing Lollapolooza the weekend after Disgraceland, followed by an Ibiza tour taking in Pacha, Amnesia and more.
Nervo rocked The Forum at Mardi Gras this year. Their love for music is clearly evident when you see them DJing live, and this weekend at Disgraceland Sydney and Melbourne is your only chance.
Disgraceland Sydney featuring Nervo is on Friday night at Nevermind on Oxford Street from 10pm for $10. Disgraceland Melbourne featuring Nervo is on Saturday night at JettBlack on Grevile Street from 10pm for $15.
The Nervo sisters’ single This Kind Of Love can be heard below.
