This years Brisbane Pride Festival was the biggest yet, but unfortunately due to issues and increased costs across the board it has also lumped Brisbane Pride INC. into $22,000 worth of debt from the festival, which is still owed to hire companies.

Brisbane Pride is one of the largest GLBTI festivals in Australia, and it would be awful to loose it! Pride Festival is asking for assistance from the public to help raise the funds needed to pay the outstanding debt in an effort to run the festival in 2011.

What can you do? Come along TONIGHT 7PM ( Tuesday, September 14 ) to QAHC and have your say on the festival and how you can help out! While this is not the Pride AGM its still a great chance to hear what’s going on with the festival and have a say in the decisions made.

For the last few years Pride has suffered from not enough people helping out, and here is your chance to meet some great people and pick up some awesome skills, all the while helping out the community.
