Dancing With The Stars judge Todd McKenney has called him “the worst dancer I’ve seen in all six series”, but farmer David Graham continues to stay in the competition after being voted in by the public each week.

So what is it that’s keeping him in the running to win this series of the televised dancing competition? Especially given that one of his dances, the Paso Doble, recently received the lowest score possible when each of the four judges gave him just one point each.

Graham has today told New Limited that he is being “victimised” by the judges. “I felt like a tennis ball being smacked all over the place every time I got one (point). I felt like I’d been belted out of the court when I got a total of four.’’

Judge McKenney denies that he’s singled the former Big Brother contestant out. “I’m not [picking on him],’’ he says. “I call it as I see it.”

Instead, McKenney says that the only reason that Graham remains in the dancing competition is because of those who want to give moral support to the drought-striken farmer as well as the oft-quoted “gay vote”.

UPDATE: Well, obviously the gay vote’s not quite what Todd McKenney thinks it is, as Graham was booted out of the competition on the show last night. So much for the powerful “gay vote”!

UPDATE 2: Graham today labelled the idea of the “gay vote” as “rubbish”. He told News Ltd: “If there was a gay vote there would have been equal rights for homosexuals a long time ago.”
