Respected long-time party DJ and music producer David Morales is touring Australia this coming March – just in time for Mardi Gras 2011!

In an industry promotional email leaked to Same Same, his agent reveals he is touring in Australia from Sunday 6 until Sunday 20 March.

The official Mardi Gras Party is scheduled for Saturday 5 March – but the party crew never comment on guest rumours, hoping instead to surprise punters on the night.

Morales (pictured) lives in New York and has been mixing music for 25 years, picking up several ‘Remixer of the Year’ Grammy awards along the way.

He’s remixed and produced over 500 releases for artists including Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Eric Clapton, Pet Shop Boys, U2, Whitney Houston and Jamiroquai to name just a few.

Along with frequent dance party tours of North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia as a DJ, he reportedly has a new studio album in the works.
