2011 sees Gold Coast Gay Day returning with a vengeance this Sunday 1 May.

Gold Coast Gay Day is a not-for-profit event bringing the LGBT community, their families and friends together for a day of live entertainment, positive networking and down right fun for all.

With two stages packed with entertainment the day is set to go off! Headlining acts of the day include one of my own personal favourites Melissa Tkautz (Hey I loved E Street!) who will be performing a few of her classic hits, while Rhys Bobridge of So You Think You Can Dance , will also be brining his magic to the stage. Other entertainers include Ian Starr, duo Hugo and Shai, Hayley Young, and the the fabulous Kitty Glitter who is venturing up from the gay clubs of Sydney to spin those turn tables and get you dancing.

This year’s Gold Coast Gay Day will be hosted by Trixie O Nasis, Nana Rama Licious and Martini Ice, so you can bet hilarity will follow. Now let’s not forget the lineup of DJs including “bitches in tha Box” – Pete Underwood and R.J. Sims, Adam Cox, Sammy Gee, ACraig, Laszlo K and Sam Huth.

Now with the Parklands exploding with extra entertainment on the day, this year’s God Coast Gay Day is set to be the biggest one yet!

There are a limited number of pre-sale tickets that will be on offer from Chevron Island Tan at the special price of $10.00 each. Chevron Island Tan can be found in the main street of Chevron Island, Surfers Paradise. Tickets at the gate are $15.

Gold Coast Gay Day takes place at Parklands on the 1st of May from 11am till 6pm followed by the Official After Party at MP’s Nightclub in Surfers Paradise to round off an amazing day!
