If any guys are feeling the call of nature this weekend, then MANCAMP is for you!

To welcome the first full moon weekend of spring, the guys at Crew have decided to put on a music and camping festival at a campsite north of Brisbane, so if you’re one of those blokey types who like to get back to nature while enjoying a good outdoor dance party, then this is one weekend you can’t miss out on.

Not completely brought on the idea of a bunch gay guys going bush? Well one of the organisers Craig Worland shared with SameSame why he’s looking forward to it: “Basically the big part of this type of event that I enjoy is that the guys say hello to each other, there is a real social atmosphere around the bonfire, and those new friendships I have seen form at these type of parties, I often see now out in clubs having a night out together.”

The weekend will play host to two dance parties featuring some of Brisbane’s best DJ’s such as Les Smith, Jamie King, Kieron Kelly, Adam Cox, Nathan Cottier, Kandi Kane, oh and a bit of friendly advice be sure to bring a pair of sunglasses for the morning glare, you’re going to need them.

Mancamp is more then just two outdoor dance parties, it’s a chance to meet new people in a setting outside of the usual city haunts, while enjoying the beauty of mother nature.

The boys at Crew haven’t held back in organising the entertainment, 4×4 Trek on the Saturday with with Big Dave and the Gay 4×4 Club, Pierre Brand from BootCo will be giving a talk about their club and a demonstration of which I’m sure will spark some interest amongst a few of you. Jamie King will host a Music Circle Talk Group, watch the firetwirlers or even possibly have a go yourself, and possibly even join in on an epic game of tug of war, and much more.

MANCAMP will be kicking off this Friday from 12 noon onwards on the 9th of September through to Sunday night at 5pm, located approximately 45 minutes North West of Brisbane near Dayboro.

When you sign up to buy a ticket, you will receive an email with an information pack for the weekend – you will receive details with this registration.
