Julia Gillard will be attending a lunch at the Melbourne’s Park Hyatt Hotel today, and same-sex marriage protesters will be waiting for her.
Equal Love supporters will be showing our opposition to her ban on same-sex marriage, giving her a taste of what to expect at the huge protest meeting planned in Sydney during the ALP national conference this December.
Equal Love Victoria convener Ali Hogg says Bob Katter’s gay half-brother Carl Katter will be at the protest.
“Feel free to come in wedding gear or dressed as Julia Gillard,” invite the Equal Love protesting team today. “There’s a prize for best costume up for grabs.
“And get making your glitter bombs, confetti explosions and witty placards now! All are welcome!”
