Tasty Oxford Street venue Ruby Rabbit will be open throughout the entire pre-Mardi Gras Parade and Party week, featuring DJs and special guest entertainment each night.

And visiting from her new home in Hollywood, home-grown drag diva Courtney Act (pictured) will host dinner and shows each night from Monday February 27 to Thursday March 1 in the ground floor restaurant, with surprise guests each night.

“A Taste of Courtney is the only chance to see Courtney up close and personal this Mardi Gras as she performs songs as you wine and dine on a three course meal created by an award-winning chef,” say the Ruby Rabbit crew.

Each of the dinners begins at 7pm with a set menu created by Ruby Rabbit’s celebrated chef an in intimate setting for a select number of guests. Throughout each of the three courses Courtney Act will serenade you with songs from her sold out shows and career spanning close to a decade since she was plucked from Oxford Street to become a household name on Australian Idol.

After 9pm the two bar levels upstairs will be open for a different special event each of these nights:

Wednesday February 29: Opening Night Party!
Thursday March 1: International Night!
Friday March 2: Bitch – for the girls
Saturday March 3: Mardi Gras Closing Party!

Courtney Act’s dinner and a show will run until 9:30pm each night, and also includes complimentary access to the top two levels of Ruby Rabbit’s special Mardi Gras Week bar upstairs.
