Rugger Bugger is back for another Full Monty fundraiser night at the Midnight Shift.

This Saturday May 19, the boys from the Sydney Convicts Rugby Club will be stripping down to raise money for the upcoming Bingham Cup in Manchester.

Organiser of the event Richard Sparks tells Same Same “the act this year will showcase the boys in the true form of the game – dirty, rough, sweaty and with a bit of cheek.”

Starting at 11pm, the show will be hosted by Maxi Shield and will feature DJ’s Kitty Glitter, Matt Effect and Chip.

Held every two years, The Bingham Cup is the world’s largest gay rugby union tournament, comprising of over 30 clubs from 15 countries.

“The boys have undergone an intense pre-season training program which has put them in the best possible position to give the competition a run for their money,” says Sparks.

“The convicts pre-season games have been very successful, hopefully an indication of a positive Bingham tournament to come!”

After landing in Manchester, the boys will be versing their rivals – the New York Gotham Knights Rugby Club.

“It’s your chance to come and meet the boys of the team, including the many new players this year,” says Sparks. “It’s also a very fun night out with a wide variety of entertainment beside the actual show.”

The event is $25 with pre-order tickets available from Midnight Shift and Daisy Tickets or $30 at the door.
