The annual Frosty Fruits Ski Trip is returning to northern Victoria’s Hotham Alpine Resort this August, featuring a range of new and returning activities on and off the slopes.
Now in its fourth year, the trip offers six adventure-packed day and five fabulous nights, from Sunday August 19 through until Friday August 24.
Hotham is the highest alpine resort in Australia, and has its own airport, so is easily accessed via air, car or coach.

The event’s drag-o-licious special guest star has just been announced: it’s much-loved Melbourne diva Dolly Diamond (below).

The gay and lesbian ski and snowboard experience will feature two new events for 2012: an afternoon day spa outing to the gorgeous Onsen Retreat and Spa, and the first Frosty Fruits Film Night. A variety of social dining experiences, parties and special treats will also be available.
Frosty Fruits’ promoter Adam Bold says there’s plenty to do each night and even a variety day trips for non-skiers to enjoy.
“One of the advantages of being right on top of the mountain is that there is no unnecessary travelling each day,” he adds. “You can be out of your bed, out the door and onto the snow in minutes. If you get tired, or feel like a break, you can pop back to your room for a rest, a shower or other warming activities! But you can be out on the slopes as much and whenever as you like.”
The nights can be as exciting as the days, he assures. “Previous years’ guests have enjoyed the events on offer and the camaraderie that develops around the wood fires back in your chalets. There’s even been a romance or two!”
