The new trailer from Ten has revealed more about its colourful Priscilla-themed drag talent show coming up after the Olympics – and shows there’s some good-looking contestants.

I Will Survive will see showbiz hopefuls battle it out for a role in the true-blue Aussie story of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, now a stage show touring many American cities.

The new trailer shows the crew wigging out at Sydney drag venue The Imperial before climbing into the iconic bus and heading to the Outback, where the locals are astonished.

“When we think about Priscilla, we think about singing, acting and dancing… sometimes in heels,” teases the show’s host Hugh Sheridan.

Toni Collette, Jason Donovan, Rachael Taylor and Magda Szubanski also appear in the trailer among several other well-known faces.

No date has been set for the shoe to launch, but it’ll be shortly on after the London Olympic Games, which makes it about a month away.
