After several months’ break, Sydney’s full-on, all-day party Daywash will return for long weekend Sunday September 30 at Chinese Laundry by Darling Harbour.
Singer, dancer, choregrapher and grand finalist of the 2011 season of Australia’s Got Talent, Timomatic is lined up as one of the headliners, with more entertainers to be announced soon, adding to a line-up including over 20 DJs from both here and overseas.
The Daywash rinse cycle had been on hold as the promoters sought council permission to keep parties going in the multi-dancefloor palace – and now that’s all approved.
Featuring UK guest DJ Jonny M from London’s Beyond, the venue’s four dance spaces have been rebirthed and renamed as the Dirty Laundry, Big Top Load, Camp Courtyard, and the Hip Hop Cave headlining the notorious Dirty Talk RnB DJ Fly Girl Tee, and back from Brooklyn DJ Hip Hop Hoe and Sista P.
Nationally, the DJs gathered include Neil Hume, Jimmy Dee, Johnny BlueBoy, Melbourne’s Damien Reddrop, Johan K, Luke Leal, Israel, Adam Love, Brendan Terry, Dean Reid, Chip, David Neale, Jim Jam and Man3.
Here’s the eye-catching official poster for the next Daywash – and we’re assured no puppies were harmed in the making of it:

The Daywash crew tell us to expect to see all the regular party antics that you know and love, as well as a few new surprises thrown in the rinse for added party brightness!
The event will open at Midday, running through until 10pm, with an after-party to be confirmed soon.
Tickets are now on sale from the official Daywash website or Oxford’s Street’s Nevermind and Soleil Tanning.
