Canberra’s own LGBTI festival SpringOUT will be back again this November, launching with its popular Fairday.
The dates have been confirmed for Saturday 3rd until Sunday 18th November, with its organisers aiming to see regular favourites of SpringOUT including the Pink Tennis Bushdance and the Canberra Pride Awards, plus there’s a whisper of a new women’s dance.
“SpringOUT is the official pride festival of Canberra and the Australian Capital Territory,” say the organising crew. “It has been a project of Canberra Pride since 1999 with events coordinated by the local community.”
The Festival will once again be launched with the Westlund House SpringOUT Fairday, hosted by the AIDS Action Council of the ACT. See Same Same’s photos from previous years’ Fairdays below.
