A Feast of delights await you as Adelaide’s annual LGBTI festival comes of age.

The 16th annual Feast Festival was officially launched last night, announcing a huge line-up of events and guests for 10 – 25 November.

The festival’s unique central lawn HQ the ANZ Feast Festival Hub at Light Square will return, this year with a new layout and promising fabulous food, an affordable bar, a new Campsite cinema screen, retro video games and a playful carnival atmosphere.

Kicking off with the annual Pride March on 10 November from Victoria Square, a cavalcade of motorbikes will lead the colourful procession to the Hub, where the Opening Night Party will see Aussie pop princess Melissa Tkautz take centre stage.

A Feast Fest favourite is the Picnic in the Park, set for Sunday 25 November – last year over 5,000 people attended.

Also on the festival line-up is cabaret, live music, Queer Thinking forums, comedy, theatre, film (including an outdoor cinema), karaoke, sports, visual arts and parties.

Entertainers now confirmed include out country singer Beccy Cole, local band Fruit, Melbourne’s Boylesque, New York’s Trixie & Monkey, US drag legend Miss Coco Peru, drag king Rocco D’Amore, Adelaide’s Libby O’Donovan, comedians Joel Creasey, Geraldine Hickey and Nath Valvo plus many many more.

“I encourage you to attend as many Feast events as possible and make the Hub a central meeting place for the LGBTIQ community and our friends in November,” invites Feast’s Creative Producer Kerry Ireland.

“This is your festival, so come out, support and enjoy it!”
