Film - Avatar
I must admit, I was cautiously optimistic in my approach to seeing Avatar. I was looking forward to a science fiction epic but not so much a science fiction epic starring ‘sparkly blue cat people’.

When I'm walking down the street listening to my iPod, I like to pretend I'm in the film clip for the song I'm listening to.
One of my biggest joys in life is a well crafted megamix, there's nothing better!
I'm a friendly, social boy in a happy relationship for10 years. Originally from North Queensland, I moved to Sydney over 11 years ago and I love it!
I'm anally retentive and with me, it's all about the details! If I don't have something to plan for, I get depressed so I always have eleventy billion things happening at once.
I'm a big believer in people being responsible for their actions and always trying to improve yourself. I have no time for whingers, "victims" or people that will not do anything to get out of bad situations. Gee, I sound really tolerant don't I?? :)
If I don't have chocolate at least once a day I become mister crankypants and I really want a cavoodle but have to work on that a little longer with the hubby.
Oh, I also really hate rudeness and bad service. Other than that, I try to see the positive in every situation, I try to be nice to people, and I try to be thankful for what I have!
I like talking shit and being stupid and though seriousness has it's place in the world, it doesn't really fit with my persona. Leave that to the big boys please!
I'm always up for a chat so shoot me a message if you like. Though I must warn you, I get distracted very ... oooh, a butterfly!
I spend a lot of my time seeing movies, plays, musicals or concerts, and basically getting out and about, I love catching up with old friends and making new ones, planning and going on holidays (currently planning 9 weeks in Europe), and eating out at new restaurants, Of course, the odd night out every now and then is always good and I love a big night dancing with my friends and "exhuberating fantasticisms"!, )
,
, I also love any kind of "Adventure" activities - caving, rock climbing, adventure racing, white water rafting, jet boating, sky diving, next on the list to do is Canyoning!!
Tori Amos, Jewel, Sarah McLachlan, Britney, Kylie, Madonna, Deborah Cox, Avril Lavigne, Christina, MIKA, Scissor Sisters, Pet Shop Boys, Melissa Etheridge, Pink, Will Young, Darren Hayes, Handbag, Anthems, Vocal Trance

Nothing I write here will change your opinion of Jay Brannan. The 26-year-old who captured our attention in the opening scenes of Shortbus, is indeed sweet, modest, and his cute smile travels down the phone line.
Kate Miller-Heidke sets the record straight: she is bigger than one woman, she doesn't want to kill Jessica Mauboy, John Farnham hasn't been an influence on her music and her hair isn't blonde, it's apricot.
Last Friday I witnessed an unusual, sexy and very entertaining event. It was one of Tim Draxl's recent, some might say short lived, string of Sydney shows.
This week an article in the Daily Telegraph proclaimed that 'Oxford Street is straight'. Few would dispute that the strip has changed radically in recent years. So as a scene and a community, where are we at? Is the party almost over?
The splitting of Mardi Gras Parade and Party has less to do with tired marchers, and more to do with pressure from commercial partners and an administrative oversight, according to former Mardi Gras President Richard Cobden.
If you missed seeing Courtney Act, Trevor Ashley and Virginia Gay in Gentlemen Prefer Blokes during Mardi Gras season don't fret - it's back again for two shows at the Civic Hotel Underground before it whips off to the Adelaide Cabaret Festival.
It seems that Miller’s piece evokes many responses and is as poignant and relevant today as it was the day it was written. As Goldberg suggests, there is much to consider about our contemporary world that can be drawn from this work and in this she is right.
Tori Amos' highly anticipated 'Abnormally Attracted To Sin' hits stores May 15. Here's one of the first reviews of the album, as well as a preview of some of the stand out tracks.
When it comes to gay icons, they don't come much bigger than Liza Minnelli. The star of Cabaret and daughter of Judy Garland has just announced the dates for her long awaited Australian tour.
