| David DC is not your typical DJ, not your average queer. |
DJ, sometimes promoter and always punter, David DC was born and bred in Brisbane, shaped in London, evolved in Melbourne and mastered in Sydney, both personally and musically. Launching his professional DJ career in 2006, and with 2008 seeing DC quietly and steadily carve his own niche and build a solid reputation as a purveyor of quality house across the spectrum, 2009 continues to bring it DC style.
With guest appearances including Attention Deficit Disco, Love GAZE and J+J+J Parties, plus Mardi Gras Fair Day and Parade, and residencies including Slide and Middle Bar, you can currently catch DC weekly at the Colombian, and on rotation at 202 Broadway and the Bank Hotel.
With a versatile and eclectic style that puts the dance in dance music and the fun in funky, DC is all about fresh tunes, smooth grooves, chunky beats and big vocals. And with a vibe that’s unashamedly camp and unpretentiously cool, David DC’s sounds are just the ticket for groovin, cruisin and shakin. Get into it.
