Jody is a Sydney based comedian, writer and events organiser. She has been performing her comedy now for about four years and has appeared at numerous community events throughout Australia. She has toured her first solo comedy show, White Trash Lesbian, to Feast in Adelaide, Mardi Gras in Sydney and Brisbane Pride.

Apart from performing her comedy she runs the very successful Giggling Gertie comedy workshops during Mardi Gras - encouraging women everywhere to get on stage and give it a go!

Jody has been heard on 2Day FM as a semi finalist in their Comedy God Contest, and has been syndicated with "HomeGrown Humour", and now appears regularly at the queer comedy institution that is Funny Farm.

She is currently taking a bit of a break from the funny stuff to concentrate on her child, Elliott, born on the 16th November 2009.
