I'm a volunteer at JOY 94.9FM and present a program called 'The Casting Couch' on Saturday 5 till 7pm all about film and matters of the heart. I also contribute film and event reviews to samesame.com.au. So, I spend a lot of my time at the movies! I'm currently volunteering with Midsumma Festival.
I adore all things visual art and am a member of an art appreciation group called Gay Art Melbourne. I also try to get along to as many exhibition openings as possible (any excuse to dress up and score a free drink).
Not a natural athlete, I've recently taken up running and am a member of the Melbourne Frontrunners and will be participating in the Asia Pacific Outgames - which reminds me, I really should start training! I've also travelled extensively across Asia, Europe, North and South America.
I was born in Malta and emigrated to Australia with my family when I was five-years-old. I grew up in the outer suburbs of Melbourne and moved out of home to attend Monash University where I completed my medical degree. I now live in Richmond and work in one of Melbourne's public hospital networks as a Medical Registrar as I undertake speciality training.
