Moved to Alice Springs from Sydney in 1993 and life has provided me with some wonderful opportunities since. I established the first (and only) gay & lesbian designated hosted accommodation in Central Australia in 1999 called The Rainbow Connection. I work professionally as a psychologist in private practice. My partner, Glenn, and I operate the B&B together and have hosted some most wonderful guests from all walks of the GLBT world. Developed the Alice IS Wonderland gay & lesbian events program in 2001.

For most people the words 'gay Australia' are likely to conjure up images of Mardi Gras, and while some may think of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and that "cock in a frock on a rock”, they probably won’t think of Australia’s red centre itself.
