My name is Amber. I'm 21. I go to QUT and am currently doing a Bachelor of Social Science - doing a major in Sociology w/Psych' minor. Was going to change over next Semester to Bachelor of Science doing pure Psych - but I am working on my own timeline to be in my career and able to actually USE my degree (not be in uni!) by the time Jada goes to elementry (school)so, am compromising that I will change over into a double degree: Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Education (secondary) with double major in History and English. This is not my "dream job" but it's the most practical w/Jada (as opposed to spending another 4-5years min. in uni to be the clinical child psychologist that I had intended). I think I'd still enjoy teaching - maybe after a few years do my master's and lecture at Universites/Colleges. I could see myself as a Professor - one day would obviously get my doctorate degree.
I was raised by a young hippy liberal Mom.. (true liberal in thought.. not like an Australian Liberal Party member) - Democrat all the way.. and I back Hillary 100%! I love getting into INTELLIGENT political debates.. my sister's friend said the other day "No woman should be in office, they're too emotional" - That is such a dumb statement I just laughed.. I wouldn't waste my time there (Kiran!!!).
I don't mind going out to the Valley every once and a while w/friends. However, unfortunately, I've found people (lesbians) I've met at the Beat/Mint etc.. are pretty hollow "upstairs" or of very very little substance and pretty immature.. so I'm definately not "scene" I am too old for all the lezzy drama shit. I'd like to meet anyone with a great sense of humor, RESPECT for my relationship, charming, witty, a smartass but with a kind heart. Gay Les Straight Bi... bothers me little. Like I said not scene.. and prefer to disassociate myself with try-hards that are.

In my "spare time" (haha!) I enjoy spending time with my gf and my little girl... hanging out with old friends and newbies.. whether it be at my home.. or theirs.. or going out for a few drinks and creating our own entertainment... I enjoy watching movies... I'm actually a pretty big movie buff... home or at the theatre.. I love dancing.. I like old tunes remixed into an awesome dj remix beats. Anything by Telepopmusik or the YEAH YEAH YEAHS I can really get into. I love to give and receive affection... smiles.... my daughter's .. my gf's... friends.. and I particularly like being the cause.
I am pretty sarcastic I'm a major smartass... but I'm not mean.. I'll poke fun at myself before you. I'm clumsy.. I'm dorky and proud of it =oP (As Joni says... I listen to really gay music bahahahaha!). I have no psychic abilities.. lol.. but I'm incredibley "intuitive" - if something is wrong with you or me.. or there's an "unspoken situation" ... I'll defianately sense it and have a fair idea.
Wow.. this has been long (it's a boring quite afternoon while I write this) If your still with me .. CONGRATS! Your attention span is far greater then mine!
