A bit about me? I write, I run this place along with the great SS team, I put on events that I adore and none of it ever feels like work.

I've always hated well-worn paths and do everything I can to avoid them. I'm a fervent believer that you get what you give and you create your own luck.

A few things that make me smile: Rufus Wainwight's view of the world, Bret Easton Ellis' rambling mind-altering sentences, challenging the way things "should be done", savouring a book that tickles the corners of my brain (The God Delusion or The Ethics of What We Eat), day dreaming, discovering new music, slipping on a warm shirt direct from the dryer, well made reality television that makes you thank god you're not American, people who agree with you, reading trashy mags on planes, people who disagree with you.
