Born and raised in Adelaide South Australia, Adam Michael began his career at the age of 5 appearing on many locally produced shows such as 'Channel Niners', 'Curiosity Show', and even 'Humphrey B Bear'. At the age of 11 Adam was awarded an outstanding achievement by the AMEB as the highest scoring music student in Australia & New Zealand and then in 1992 he moved to Italy to study after being the youngest ever foreign music student to be offered a scholarship at the University of Florence. Returning to Adelaide in 1993 to complete high school, Adam spent the next 7 years appearing as a regular on the local music scene while completing his Bachelor of Music degree at the Conservatorium of Music. During this time he appeared as a regular in many productions for the Adelaide Festival Centre such as 'Me and My Girl', 'High Society', 'West Side Story' and 'Les Miserables' and was a series regular on 'Adelaide Today'. In 1999 he relocated to Sydney New South Wales and after successfully finding work at the Sydney 2000 Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Adam took a break from the music business to return to his studies and 'live life'. In recent years Adam has returned to the local scene appearing on stage at clubs such as 'The Market', 'Heaven' and 'ARQ' and he was the 2am show with DJ's Dan Murphy and Jake Kilby for the very first 'Homesexual' party in September 2005. It was this same year that he started his own production company 'DannyBoy Productions' (named after his god son Daniel) and in 2007 a yet to be announced single will be released under his own label DannyBoy Records. In this business where dance music is like fashion and the singers that sing it disposable, Adam Michael is sure that his style of 'old school vocals' with disco infused funk house will be round for years to come. "I've been an entertainer long enough not to listen to the hype and just go out there and do my thing. I'm more interested in the posibilties that await me tomorrow by what I create and acheive and do today".
