Most people tend to start their 'about me' with "gee.. where do I begin?" or "I hate writing these things". Really you should just get on with it.
And now I've just wasted a good 3 lines of mine telling those people off.. grr!
Well, The names Luke, aka Lukey aka Ellison aka Fonk aka Fokal aka Funky aka Canindian.
I'm 17 and am currently living in the South-Western Sydney suburb of Liverpool.
It's alright here I guess, but I'd really like to get out of here.
I'm in my first year of University doing a dual degree of a Bachelor of Teaching / Bachelor of Art (secondary Humanities) at ACU (Australian Catholic Univerity - Strathfield Campus) and I'm really excited about this whole new change to life.

Things have been picking up lately
My relationship with my family has gotten alot better after a very tense time,
My old friends seem to be getting closer and rekindalling old relationships,
Starting Uni is bringing alot of excitement,
and hopefully my cousin will be getting me a casual job at her Day/after school care center, so that will be a much appreciated change from stinky old Coles.

I have a Mom a Dad, 2 little brothers, 2 dogs, a guinnie pig and a fighting fish.
I love Art and History and can spend whole days being creative drawing and painting, or sitting infront of the TV watching the History Channel.
I play Guitar and Sing, and make it a habbit of annoying my mum whilst she attempts to watch the television.
Hopefully one day migh even consider playing at gigs and such, but thats just a dream.
I've learnt alot in the past year that many 17 year olds might struggle with.
Keep friends close, as close as you can, and never forget the ones you have had the longest, because there is a reason you've been their friend for so long. They know you better than anyone else, and can see right through you.
I've also learnt the importance of family. Never let anyone get in the way of that very special connection, because when things go wrong, and you feel like your friends have abandond you; family is family, and they will always love you and be there to listen when close friends won't.
and the final thing I've learnt is to do with the types of people you fall for.

#1 - Do they love you?
#2 - Do you love them?
#3 - Are they truthful?
#4 - Can you tell them anything?
#5 - Do they do whats best for you?
#6 - Is the relationship best for you?

Alot of the time we get blinded by what we want, and what we think we see. But alot of the time you're wrong. Don't jeperdise relationships with friends and family for a bf or gf because if things falter with them, who else are you going to turn back to?.. thats right, family and friends. If they think the person you like isn't good for you, no matter what you think, they are probably right.


So this concludes my rant.
