Hi there, I am half and half alot of things Sth African origins, grew up in Melbourne but living in Sydney for about 7yrs. I am passionate about all things film and filmmaking I work as a doco director and editor and make films that have a social justice bent and work with disadvantaged youth and the homeless, yes I want to change the world. I am also into running, the beach which is why I live in Coogee, gym when i am in the mood to pump myself up. I also into personal development stuff but I also love a little hedonism. I often ride the wave between commercial and alternative, it all depends on my mood. I am complicated but simple soul !!
Would love to hear from other artists of all types, particularly other filmmakers, bring on the creatives...... "we imagine a world that can be rather than accept the one that is..... " Have started a filmmaking group here so check it out and join. Thanks for stopping by....

I just recently saw "Clap Your Hands and Say Yeah" which were cool didn't really know much about them but I love "Satan Said Dance" don't really like gay handbag but I can sing along to a Kylie song with the best of them, In my collection you will find Nick Drake, Martha & Rufus Wainright, Claire Bowditch and the Feeling Set, Bernard Fanning, Regina Specktar, Missy Elliot, Xavier Rudd, The Killers, The Cowboy Junkies, Silverchair, Jeff Buckley, Prince, Barb ( yes I know ) but I love the Guilty album, Antony and the Johnsons, Lauryn Hill, Lior, Michael Franti, Nina Simone, The Fugees, John Legend, Lemar, Leela James, Scissor Sisters, Ruby trance to run with and then some Nepalese and Indian stuff that I found when I was travelling, The Eivissa 06 Classics are a great 90's house mix when I am out I love hard house and fusions of all sorts of music but I like it deep dark and dirty beats
I have to start with Miranda July's "You Me and Everyone We Know" American independent and brilliant it's just art in the pure sense, Born into Brothels, Last King of Scotland, City of God, Volver, Bad Education, Kika, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown ok everything ever made by Pedro Almolvodar, The Love My Way" series is fantastic more recently I loved "Little Children" "The Queen " and "The Life of Others" looking back a bit I really loved a film by Lukas Moodyson "Together"/ The City of Lost Children and Amelie in fact anything ever made by Jean-Pierre Jeunet who is one my favourite directors, "To Catch a Fire" is awesome Phil Noyce is one of my favourite Australian directors in the same vien "Totsi" which is a Sth African story is also amazing "In the Mood for Love" shot by Chris Doyle who is one my favourite cinematographers and his counterpart Kar Wai Wong anything made by him is mad !! "Donnie Darko" is the most classic film made in the Eighties I love it more everytime I watch it, There's more but I'll stop now
