Come On Get Happy!
What is happiness? Is it about finding the pleasure in life? Is it about channelling your energies into things that are bigger than you? Is it about building your life around meaningful things? No. It's a combination of all three.

Just a regular inner city ghettoised gayboy, well actually AHEM! ghettoised sexy gayboy. :) (ghetto glam, gaystyle) With an irridiscent kaleidoscopic checkeredhistory! Threads through the fabric of life, though everyone feels best when they're undressed I say. And then, before you know it, it's Glamrock, taa daa and life goes along like 'Ooh laa laa' from the very lovely Goldfrapp. Most days.
Living in the heart of gay mecca and part of the now extensive village means a lot to me as a way of life. I'm quite drifty through Darlinghurst. Being a low key Romantic, and therefore a Dreamer. I love standing in the afternoon sun waiting to cross the at the lights at Taylor Square. Wouldn't wanna live anywhere else in the world tho.. Sydney. Sydney is glam to me. However, I draw the line at going out further than Newtown. So I'll definately be up for a day party recovery at Manacle in selectively obscure Petersham.
I love Kylie, and as such, here follows:
Fave 3 Kylie clips-
1.Slow. Ooh so sexy and alluring at her peak sex kittenness.
2.Two Hearts. Just love it when Kylie takes ownership of the floor with her cute fuller belly, striding forward hips swaying at such perfect snaplock angles in her catsuit.. And the skullfaces on the microphone, esp the glammed up one.
I guess Slow is Kylie at her finest before she started getting sick, and 2 HEarts is her all resilient and all rocking, ready to take on the world after treatment. Kylie went from Sex Kitten into Catsuit for me, and she's just the greatest inspiration. A God has to have made Kylie as far as I'm concerned.
Moving right along. . . .
No. 3 Can't Get Blue Monday Outta My Head at the Brits.
That performance was just pure magic. So sleek and sexy, yet demurely seductive, and so relaxed when she rolls her eyes heavenwood.
I also really love the Showgirl numbers "Your Disco needs you' and 'Hand on your heart'. She looked great in her golden glitter very smart evening wear dress. So classy.
I can't wait to see her new show when it comes to Sydney. I really wanna here her sing live Like A Drug ( I heard it sounds quite predatory as Kylie hangs off her black skull emerging from the back of the stage.) And also 'The One'. I just loved how she did it in the kylie show. So elegant.
And I hear she's singing about 5 unreleased tracks, some of which are disco stompers. So I'll be getting to know those songs well when the dvd of the tour comes out.
On Madonna, I don't have the energy to say much at the moment, on account of the dreadfulness of her new album. I don't like it much. Even 'Secret' comes off better from Bedtime Stories better than the whole of Hard Candy. But. . . . .
However, my fave Madonna clips. . . . . .
1. Bad Girl. Classic. I've done my little Bad Girl routines on rare occasions I've got drunk. Gone out to bars, drunk by 6, not really with a cigarette but probably after a joint or two, waiting to embark on a sexual adventure with 'some kind stranger' who takes me back into the gay sensual sexual underbelly of our fair village.
No.2 I Want You. This is one of my fave songs that she's done and made a film clip for. I love the telephone anxiety, and the waiting for the call, going mental.
3. Justify My Love, and Erotica. Loved that whole Sex period and the Erotica album.
I actually thought in Swept Away, once Madonna chilled out living on the island, Mediterrean sunshine and good cock, she was good. Happy for once.
Warm winter nights with doona on the lounge watching dvd's late into the night
