The amazingly talented Kate Miller-Heidke is touring once again and this time in a series of live and acoustic shows in boutique venues around the country. She recently performed to a wide eyed audience in Katoomba with an eclectic mix of new tracks from Curiouser and a revival of some oldies but definitely goodies from previous albums.

Stripped down to a piano and two backing guitarists, the acoustic show highlights Kate’s amazing diversity and the quirkiness that her fans love. There were new tracks like The One Thing I Know, Caught In The Crowd, Can’t Shake It, Last Day On Earth, God’s Gift to Women and Politics In Space and oldies like Space They Cannot Touch, Words and Mama interspersed with hilarious stories. There was even her hilarious version of Britney Spears’ Toxic and her outstandingly clever Australian Idol.

For long time fans of Kate or for those who are just discovering her – this is a show not to be missed.
