Big Gay Day is this weekend. Can you handle it?
Diva sensation Martha Wash from the Weathergirls, who brought you It’s Raining Men and Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now), will be headlining the day alongside ARIA nominee Kate Miller-Heidke, ABBA tribute band Bjorn Again, pop survivor Melissa Tkautz and Australian singer songwritter Kristy Apps.
The DJ line up is jam packed – Wayne G will be flying in from the UK – he’s remixed everyone from Cher and Madonna to Kylie Minogue and the Backstreet Boys, so you’ll be in safe hands. He’ll be joined by Sydney DJs Mark Alsop and Shigeki, as well as Melbourne’s Mike Evans.
There’s plenty of hot local talent as well, including Kylie Rose, from Cut And Taste fame, Les Smith, Matt Steer, Ish, Khris, David Abel, Master and Striker, Double Up Bears, Kandi Kane, Mr Sparkles, Corey Czok and Tsunami.
There’s also Fluffy favourites Neroli and Harry K. Harry says that when it comes to his sets anything goes, so long as the crowd is rocking he’s happy. It’s hard to argue with that! Neroli’s mixture of dirty house, sexy beats and energetic trance will remind all of you why she came number 7 in QLD and number 34 nationally in the InTheMix50 Dj poll last year.
