Queens Birthday Ball 2007


What say’s party better than “Rio Carnivale” and that is what the Queen’s Birthday Ball is all about Party, Party, Party.

Be Out, Loud and Proud and celebratethis year’s 46th Annual Queen’s Birthday Ball, the longest running Annual Gay and Lesbian Event World Wide.

The entertainment this year will be produced by one of Brisbane’s most recognised Drag Performers. Ella Va’lay is set to raise the tempo of the evening and get the party started. Accompanied by a multitude of Brisbane’s finest Drag Identities and Male Dancers, coupled with some of Australia’s Leading Dj’s.

This year’s awards will take on a new format, bringing them into the 21st Century. With Committee members nominating 6 entrants in each category. Every one coming through the gate before 11pm will be able to vote for their favourites in all categories.

This years theme “Rio Carnivale” brings the party atmosphere to life. With prizes also for those coming dressed in theme. Our roving Judges will decide from the party crowd who the finalists will be after the Grand parade of Costumes. All finalists will be invited to the stage for the Final Judging after the awards.
