This is our favourite time of year. Full stop, without a doubt.

The sun rises late, the days are punctuated with blue skies and we get to return to our favourite venue on the face of the earth next Sunday evening to celebrate the return of Fag Tag for the summer. So scratch the date of Sunday November 18 into your diary with blood and let’s get ready to party.

Time certainly flies, and this year marks our fourth year of heading to the Opera Bar in Summer. Fag Tag by the Harbour has almost become a spiritual experience for us now. Here’s our recipe for next Sunday night:

Step one: order in clear blue skies. (But hey, even wet ones will do).
Step two: order as many of your friends as possible to meet you by Sydney Harbour.
Step three: order a 42 Below cocktail, sit back and enjoy the evening.
Step four: order a taxi to take you home, content with thoughts of a gorgeous Summer’s eve.

Fag Tag at the Opera Bar is on Sunday November 18. The sun will be out (we hope), the stars will be shining, the air will be fresh and we’ll be celebrating Fag Tag’s return with a beer in our hand and a smile on our dial. We’ve got a heap of great surprise venues lined up over the next few months. This will be the only Opera Bar Fag Tag this year, followed by our Fag Tag Xmas Party in December.
