DTPM 3rd Birthday


It’s almost the end of the year, and we’ve got one tiny piece of news to help put a smile on your dial over the Christmas break: Our favourite party animal may have taken a few months off to detox, unwind and realign its chakras, but we’re proud as punch to announce that DTPM is back with a vengeance.

The next DTPM is going to be our huge 3rd birthday party on Sunday January 27, the Sunday night of the Australia Day Long Weekend. Come celebrate Australia Day with your favourite Australian party at the best nightclub in Australia, Tank.

The line-up is smoking. Room 1 features DTPM’s Alan Thompson, Kate Monroe and Eddie Coulter, with percussion by Matt Sawyer. Room 2 is Seymour Butz, Mark Murphy and DTPM virgin Hooli – and for our third birthday we’re going to be introducing a surprise third dancefloor, with a DJ never used before at a gay event.

Tickets to DTPM at Tank on Australia Day Weekend are $49 plus booking fee, available from SameSame.com.au, the Toolshed, Hum Records and Inthemix. DTPM runs from 10pm to late at Tank.

As a limited special offer, if you buy your tickets online at Same Same, you can buy a DTPM Party Pack for $80 – which includes your ticket to DTPM’s 3rd Birthday and DTPM’s super special Mardi Gras Weekend Party on the night of Sunday March 2 (which we haven’t announced yet, so this is just between you and us, ok?).
