2012 marks the 15th year of this very popular annual event, and will be a special homecoming for several of our guest dancers.
The varied program of classical favourites and contemporary masterworks is crafted by Artistic Director François Klaus into a thrilling, bravura performance. For this 15th anniversary Gala, we welcome back regular guest choreographer Nils Christe, who will mount his delicious work, Dîner Dansant, and didgeridoo maestro William Barton will join the Company to reprise an excerpt from François Klaus’s Timeless Dances. This exciting Gala also features a new work by Queensland Ballet dancer and choreographer, Gareth Belling, and concludes with a stunning Finale for the entire Company and guest dancers.
