Bespoken: Queer Writing Monthly
This month features a reading by Nicki Reed of her newly released novel Unzipped. Set in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne, it tells the story of a married woman who falls head over heels into bed with another woman she meets on an alcohol-fuelled night out. The pace is fast and quirky and is published by serious lit outfit Text Publishing. Also features work in progress by Word is Out favourite Urszula Dawkins and new work by award-winning Australian poet Maria Zajkowski presenting new work.
